1. John Curtin
John Curtin (1885-1945) was an Australian politician and the 14th Prime Minister of Australia. He was born in Creswick, Victoria, but spent his early adult life in Fremantle, Western Australia. Curtin served as Prime Minister from 1941 until his death in 1945, during the crucial years of World War II.
2. Bon Scott
Bon Scott (1946-1980) was an Australian rock musician and the lead vocalist of the legendary rock band AC/DC. He was born in Forfar, Scotland, but his family migrated to Fremantle when he was six years old. Scott achieved global fame with AC/DC, but unfortunately, he passed away at the age of 33.
3. Cyril Lionel Robert James
Cyril Lionel Robert James (1901-1989), commonly known as C. L. R. James, was a prominent Trinidadian historian, journalist, and Marxist theorist. James settled in Fremantle, Western Australia, in the late 1950s and authored several influential works during his time there.
